Who we are

Lockveil is made by LelekaLabs Studio. You can reach us at support@example.com.

The short version

• Lockveil has no account.
• The developer collects no data from the app. The App Store privacy label is expected to read “Data Not Collected”.
• The app has no analytics, no ads, no trackers and no third-party SDKs.
• We run no servers that hold your keys.

What stays on your iPhone

Your files, their names, thumbnails, folders and notes are encrypted on your iPhone. The keys that open them never leave your iPhone.

Encrypted iCloud backup

Backup is optional and is on by default. It is stored in the private database of your own iCloud account, not on any server of ours. Everything is encrypted on your iPhone before it is uploaded, and files are split into blocks of a fixed size.

Apple, or anyone with access to your iCloud account, can see the number and size of the encrypted blocks and when they were uploaded, but not what is inside them. You can turn backup off.

Purchases

Apple handles payment for Lockveil Pro through the App Store. We never see your card details.

Crash reports

The app sends no crash reports of its own. Crash data reaches us only through Apple, and only if you choose to share it with developers in iOS Settings.

Camera, photos and Face ID

The camera, your photos and Face ID are used only on your iPhone. Face ID data stays with Apple's system; Lockveil never sees it. If you turn on Pro's intruder photo, the picture is stored encrypted inside your vault.

This website

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics and makes no third-party requests. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, time and page, for operation and security. [hosting provider and log retention to be confirmed]
